“Welcome to Apex Bakery!

We are an Old School Bakery originating in 1924.

Some of our specialties include our Slow Ferment Dough’s/Breads and our Pies and Pasties – all of which are made from recipes dating back to the 1800’s. We also do a ripping Beinenstich (or Bee Sting to some).

The Scotch Oven you see in the pic above is our pride and joy, giving our products a unique flavour and texture. We believe it is the longest running, continuously fired commercial wood oven in Australia!
